Get to know our friendly and experienced team at Altora!

What brought you to Altora Nicole?

I was first attracted to the role as it felt like an area in which I had prior knowledge in the day-to-day tasks whilst also having the opportunity to broaden my skill set. After meeting the team, I felt like I got along with them quite well and that it would be an environment I could easily fit into.

What is your background/experience?

I previously had 6 years’ experience in admin and customer service roles ranging over a variety of different industries.

How long have you been working at Altora and what is your role?

I have been with Altora for just over a year now and my role is Client Support Consultant.

What do you enjoy most about working at Altora?

Both the Altora team and the client base. The Altora Team are a breeze to work with and we have heaps of fun. I have always felt very supported in my role and have had any queries always met and answered. I love working with our clients and assisting them in any way I possibly can so that they can utilise the system to the best of their ability.

How would you describe the working environment?

The environment is productive, very communicative, supportive, and fun at the same time. We all get along here and can make the working day quite enjoyable.

How do you think Altora differentiates from competitors in the industry?

Speaking with our clientele, our price point helps however it is also how client support orientated we are. We pride ourselves on wanting to receive customer feedback and utilising that feedback to make system improvements. I always say to our clients that we may build the system but we’re not using it on a day-to-day basis like they are so we want to know what works or doesn’t so that we can make sure that it is the most efficient as possible.

How has Altora evolved since you have been working with them?

When I first started, we were in the middle of lockdowns so the obvious one there is actually have the ability to spend time in the office with the rest of the Altora team. Other than that, we’ve moved offices into a more central location which has been very positive. There have been a lot of system updates and changes which has been exciting to be a part of the system’s evolution.

What advice would you give to a colleague who recently joined Altora or who is in beginning of their professional career?

Don’t be afraid to ask for help, the entire team is really great at communicating and helping one another – they’ll always be happy to assist in a way you may need. This is a very supportive company and your needs as an individual are really important and valued so feel free to express those. Also the system is really user friendly and straight forward so you’ll probably pick it up quite quickly.
