So, what are the steps involved?

Plan the software transition

Before you dive in, get together a clear timeline in order to make the transition as smooth as possible and avoid any unnecessary disruption. Decide what you are going to move over, and what processes are no longer required – it’s a good time to remove any outdated workflows. Our sales and tech team can help with any queries you may have related to migrating processes over to our system.

Ensure all relevant parties within your organisation are aware of the transition and provide them with important dates and requirements.

Data migration

Transfer all of your records, data and onboarding processes over to your new software, ensuring no data is lost or left behind. Altora’s system will be able to accommodate and receive any company data and policies you want to transfer. If you have your own IT department, they might be able to assist you with this. Alternatively, we can organise a technical team to help for a small fee.

System set up

Start to get your system set up and your onboarding workflows in place. Get your course modules and SCORM courses uploaded, or use Altora’s course builder to create any refreshed modules. Upload your company policies and any training material. Use Altora’s templates for any important procedures you might be missing such as Code of Conduct or Environment Management Policies.

Testing phase

Time to put it to the test! Work through our system and check your training modules, processes and reporting. Ensure you’re covering any work health and safety requirements and there are no gaps in your onboarding.

Training

We provide training for your administrators on the software so they are up to speed and have the ability to train your users once you go live. This will also serve as an additional testing phase as they may spot missing items or processes within your system.

Go live with your new software

It’s go live date! Time to share your new Altora system with your company and workers. Be clear on how they can access the system along with your unique link. Provide any additional training and welcome queries and questions. The Altora team are on hand to guide you through this and provide support.

Help centre and support

If there are any gaps in your knowledge or you need to refresh on any training, you can visit our Help Centre at any time for assistance. Nicole, our Client Support Manager, is on hand to assist with any queries or technical support too. We can assure you that you’ll be in good hands with Nicole.
