What brought you to Altora?
I was looking for a new job and found out Altora was looking at hiring at the same time. Then I had a chat to the management team and the rest is history.
What is your background/experience?
My background has been within the eLearning industry, I started as a Multimedia Designer then moved into Software Development later.
How long have you been working at Altora and what is your role?
I have been working at Altora for about 8 years and my role is Software Developer.
What do you enjoy most about working at Altora?
The best thing about working for Altora is the flexibility.
How would you describe the working environment?
Working environment is casual and relaxed.
How do you think Altora differentiates from competitors in the industry?
We offer a simple to understand product for managing your workers and provide real world support in a timely manner.
How has Altora evolved since you have been working with them?
Altora while similar in staff size has gradually improved the product over the years allowing for the potential to target new client types.
What advice would you give to a colleague who recently joined Altora or who is in beginning of their professional career?
Don’t be afraid to contribute new ideas small or large as it might help take the business forward.
Can you share a recent positive or fun experience you have had with your colleagues?
Team lunches are always fun as we can catch up without a focus on work.
How would you sum up working for Altora in a few words/sentences?
Altora has a relaxed culture without any office politics or red tape getting in the way of getting things done. Always good to catch an NBA game or two also.
Any other comments you would like to make?
I just want to highlight the dev teams improvements, focusing on the way we work together as a team and hope we continue to build upon what we have started.
