Vivid Services is a commercial cleaning and property services company that provides services to hospitals, government facilities, educational institutions and other organisations. Established in 2007, it is now regarded as one of Australia’s leading providers across metropolitan, regional, rural and remote locations. Vivid Services is known for its efficient and reliable management of complex multi-service contracts, so it sought worker induction processes that were similarly efficient, reliable, accurate, and scaleable.

The challenge
Managing long-term induction records while scaling workforce compliance
Vivid’s significant success posed a pressing challenge: how to induct its growing workforce across an ever-expanding number of client sites across Australia. The challenge was twofold: managing the number of workers and the number of client work sites. The solution needed to be flexible enough to accommodate the workforce and agile enough to scale at the same pace as Vivid’s business development.
The solution
In 2015, Vivid sought our help. We recommended our induction platform, which was then known as Ezy Inductions. Vivid signed up for a basic plan, and within six months, the system had amply demonstrated its value and flexibility. Vivid upgraded to a standard plan and then to the premium plan in 2018.
When the time came to migrate to the new Altora Online Induction System, we ensured a seamless transfer of content, with a comprehensive onboarding process for Vivid’s staff, including training and tailored administrator access.
More than a decade later, our system continues to support a structured framework including general induction, work health and safety onboarding, and fleet maintenance training. One of the keys to this success has been our platform’s ability to maintain historical records while ensuring the accuracy of current staff records.
Our support team have continued to help with handovers to new account holders and administrators, helping new staff become familiar with the system and providing extra support when needed.
