Manage multiple inductions across nine power stations
Origin Energy is a trusted household name across Australia. It is an integrated energy company that supplies customers with electricity, natural gas, LPG and solar. Across their Power Generation fleet, a multitude of energy sources are used to produce electricity. Origin Energy have been with Altora for two years. We spoke to Tony Hawes, Generation T&C Senior Business Partner at Origin, about why Altora has been the induction solution for them…

After shopping around and conducted trials of other providers, the “ease of use, flexibility in managing courses and cost” is what set Altora apart for the team at Origin Energy. Within their Power Generation business, Origin have nine power stations that need to manage inductions. “We were looking for a simple cost-effective solution that would enable contractors to complete inductions prior to arriving on site”, Tony explains. “The challenge being faced was the amount of time taken to induct contractors when they came to site to perform work.”
