Some of the Altora team recently had the pleasure of visiting the Joy Exhibition at Melbourne’s Immigration Museum. Curated by eight talented Victorian artists, the exhibition was focused on evoking feelings of joy and nostalgia.
We enjoyed beautiful portraits, sparkly objects, bright colours, giant bunnies and a faux retro video store. We finished the exhibition by contributing to the wall of joy, and each adding a snippet of our own experience with joy and what it means to us.
It truly did what it said on the tin – we left feeling warm, fuzzy and full of joy!
After the joy exhibition, we continued to look around the immigration museum, learning of stories and artefacts from Australian immigration over the years. We highly recommend visiting if you’ve not done so before.
After the museum we headed over to our favourite sandwich joint – Saluministi for a tasty lunch in the sun.

We hope you enjoyed this blog! Stay tuned for the next one.
